From 1 February to 15 April 2024, early-stage mobility startups have the opportunity to apply for the EIT Urban Mobility Market Readiness Accelerators. The Market Readiness Accelerators support entrepreneurs to build up a consistent business basis and avoid the most common failure for newly created startups: the lack of product-market fit.

The Market Readiness Accelerators encompasses five thematic EU-funded programmes, which are implemented through well-recognised partners to take early-stage mobility startups to the next level. The five thematic areas include:

  • Future mobility
  • Inclusive mobility
  • Sustainable mobility
  • Smart mobility
  • Urban air mobility

In addition to fitting one of these thematic areas, eligible startups should be able to demonstrate a focus on SDG impact, gender equality, and team diversity.

The programme’s main objective is to provide expertise in urban mobility fields for startups to validate the business approach with a focus on product-market fit. Additionally, the Market Readiness Accelerators set up the basis for successful fundraising strategies and prepare businesses to get ready to scale. The programme also offers individual business training, investor pitch coaching, an impact assessment of the venture, and product and technology validation with potential access to a network of living labs.

Applications to the accelerators can be made via AwardForce or you can sign up for the information session on 8 February 2024 at 12.00 CET to get more details about the open call.
